Cabinet & drawer fittings
When the kitchen door slams, the drawer crashes back, or the lift-up cabinet refuses to stay open — the fix is almost always a single hinge or runner. We carry the brand-correct ones.

The day-to-day reality of a kitchen call-out
Soft-close hinges that have lost their cushion
A Blum Blumotion hinge has roughly 80,000 cycles in it. After eight or nine years of heavy family use, the hydraulic damper inside fails — the cabinet door swings shut and clatters. We don't repair the damper; we replace the hinge. The good news is most cabinets accept the original part. We carry every common cup size and crank in the van.
Drawers that won't run smoothly
Two failure modes: the runner has bent (drop the drawer pan, fit a new pair) or the front of the drawer has come unfastened from the box (re-glue and pin, fit a 19mm cam if appropriate). The former takes ten minutes per drawer; the latter takes an extra fifteen minutes for the wood glue to set.
Lift-up cabinets that won't hold their position
Pneumatic stays have the shortest life of any kitchen fitting — three years on average. We carry replacements for Blum Aventos, Hettich Lift Advanced and Salice Wind. The trick is matching the gas force to the door weight; we calculate it based on the door dimensions and the panel material.
If your kitchen is more than five years old and three or four bits of it have started misbehaving, it is almost always cheaper to do them all on one visit than three separate ones.
Indicative costs

- Wardrobe pull-down rail & install: £140–£220 each.
Bring the kitchen quote down by bundling
If you have a list of small kitchen niggles — a hinge here, a drawer there, a stay that's tired — hand us the list at booking. Bundled visits beat single jobs on cost every time, and the call-out is paid only once.
