Terms & Conditions

The basis on which we accept work, complete it, and invoice for it. Last updated 14 April 2026.

1. Parties & definitions

"We", "us", "Hyvora" means Hyvora Door & Window Solutions Ltd., registered in England and Wales, Companies House Reg. 11473829. "You", "the customer" means the person or organisation who commissions us to carry out repair work. "Quote" means the written estimate we issue before the work begins; "invoice" means the bill issued after the work is completed.

2. How we accept work

A booking is only accepted once we have issued a written quote and you have replied — by email, SMS, WhatsApp, or in writing — to confirm. Verbal confirmation alone is not enough. The quote is fixed for fourteen calendar days. After that, we may re-quote if part prices have moved.

3. Access & safety

You agree to provide safe and lawful access to the property at the booked time. If a parking permit is required to attend, you agree to arrange one or to bear the parking cost on the invoice. If our engineer judges that the work cannot be completed safely (for example: the area is not vacated, electrical isolation is required and not in place, or a third party is interfering with the site), the engineer may withdraw and we will charge the call-out fee only.

4. Variations during the visit

Sometimes a fault turns out to be different from the description. If the variation is small (under £80 in materials and within thirty minutes of additional labour), the engineer may proceed and add it to the invoice. For anything larger, we will stop, photograph the issue, and call you with a revised quote. You are free to accept, decline, or defer the additional work — there is no obligation to proceed.

5. Workmanship guarantee

All workmanship is guaranteed for twelve months from the invoice date. If a part we fitted fails inside that period due to our fitting or to a manufacturer defect, we will replace and re-fit it at no charge — including the call-out fee. The guarantee does not cover mechanical damage caused by misuse, accident, or third-party interference.

6. Materials warranty

The OEM parts we supply carry the manufacturer's own warranty, which is typically twelve to thirty-six months depending on the part. We pass the manufacturer warranty through to you on the invoice; in the unusual event of a part failure outside our twelve-month workmanship cover, we will help you claim against the manufacturer.

7. Payment

Invoices are payable on completion of the work. We accept bank transfer, debit and credit cards (no surcharge), and — for emergency call-outs — cash. Trade and managing-agent customers are invoiced on a 14-day net basis upon credit application. Late payment interest accrues at the statutory rate from day fifteen.

8. Cancellation

You may cancel a booked job at any time more than 24 hours before the agreed slot at no charge. Cancellations inside 24 hours are charged the call-out fee. If the engineer has already begun travelling — typically inside 90 minutes of the slot — the call-out fee is also chargeable.

9. Liability

Our public-liability insurance is held with a UK provider for £5m. Our liability for any single claim is limited to the value of that insurance. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

10. Disputes

If you have a complaint about our work, please raise it with us first by emailing [email protected]. We aim to acknowledge complaints inside two working days and to resolve them inside fifteen. Disputes that cannot be resolved between us are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11. Updates

We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to a given job is the version in force at the time the quote is issued.
